Disclaimer If you search the net on how to permanently delete the SVI (System Volume Information) you will find that everybody says it cannot be permanently removed. That might be so, and since that directory is pissing me off, I wrote a small service that will delete that directory every time a USB drive is connected. So, in order to make that pesty directory go away, one needs to have this service running. Download:
